Hey family, friends, the Department of Chemical Engineering and other Kenya blog readers,
Thanks for tuning into the Queen's Health Outreach Kenya Project '09 Blog. I just want to start of by thanking everyone for their support for our adventure, this Project wouldn't have been possible without you. I promise to keep my posts short, as I know that people can't devote 45 minutes out of their day to hear what I ate for breakfast that day, but I will update it frequently with stories, updates on the project and my own perspectives.
I'm incredibly excited to be embarking on our adventure. Our plane leaves this afternoon so I should probably start packing.
Cheers,
Bryan

It's Finally Here!
Hello Kenya Blog Readers!
If you could see me now, I'm running circles around my room in excitement. My heart is swelling. I want to jump up and down. Basically, we are leaving to Kenya this afternoon and I cannot contain my excitement.
Right now, I have no idea what to expect, what I may encounter, see, or feel but I absolutely love that! What I do know is that I am lucky enough to be traveling with seven of the most extraordinary individuals I have met at Queen's and that what I am about to embark on is a life changing experience.
I'm going to keep this post short, I still have packing to do (yikes) but all I can say is that I am ready to work hard, be open minded, have jet lag, try new foods, do new things and meet amazing people.
I am ready for Kenya.
-Courtney
